IMPORTANT Message from music teacher, Freddie Collins:  "Stone Mountain Elementary is entering its 100th year of existence in 2025. It is the ONLY school in the Stone Mountain Village. Our goal is to give our students the opportunity to have a quality Music Education program that they would not have otherwise due to being a Title 1 school. The Music Dash will go a long way in ensuring that this becomes a reality."

 

The race will be held on Saturday, March 29th, 2025 in Stone Mountain Georgia. This will be a fantastic course that is relatively flat and fast, a great location to beat your best time.  

 

Not a runner?  You don't have to run - you can walk, you can watch, you can cheer, you can donate, you can sponsor and you can volunteer! However you decide to participate, you're going to be making a difference in the lives of kids!  

 

Interested in a little friendly competition?

 

Form a team of at least 5 and compete for the coveted Mountain Maestro Trophy.  Trophy will be awarded to the team with the lowest average time.  Come on all Dekalb County schools.   Get your team together!  Dekalb companies, let's compete!  Even a group of your friends/family.  APS, if you have the nerve - BRING IT!   It's a great way to promote school spirit, healthy competition and the community.  Form your team HERE.
